Our story
Why Becalmed?
The content landscape moves fast — new platforms, new algorithms, new AI models every week. Most of the industry responds with noise. We chose calm. Becalmed was founded on the belief that the best creative technology is deliberate, well-crafted, and built to last longer than the next trend cycle.
We started by building Ownlife, a digital publication covering technology, AI, and creative workflows. That project became the testbed for everything we now offer — content automation, platform development, and the tools that sit in between.
Today we work with clients who share our view: that technology should amplify creativity, not replace it.
